Mating Service Terms

1. Stud Pack
You will be given a stud pack after a successful mating which includes a receipt for the stud fee, pictures of the stud, details of the studs KC Pedigree and all DNA health test results. No copies of the stud pack or any paperwork from the stud pack are to be given out to new puppy owners, nor should it be published in any form on the Internet. This paperwork is only for showing to new owners when visiting you and your puppies. You will be given this stud pack after the mating.

2. Vaccinations, Worming and Flea Prevention Treatments
We recommend that your girl is fully up to date with yearly vaccinations, worming and flea prevention treatments before the mating. Owners/breeders should only give worming and flea prevention treatment as directed by their vet after mating and during pregnancy.

3. Care and Responsibility
The wellbeing of the visiting girl and our stud is of the utmost importance, and although every care is taken during a mating, Cocker Spaniel Studs cannot be held responsible for any issues that the visiting girl may experience either during mating, after mating or during pregnancy.

4. Return Mating
In the highly unlikely event that your girl does not become pregnant, we can offer a free return mating as a goodwill gesture. Your girl must be ultrasound scanned by your vet or a canine pregnancy scanning professional at between day 28 and 35 after her mating with certification provided that she’s not pregnant at this stage to book a return mating. It must be the same girl that is brought back on her next season and one mating will be offered for the return visit.
